Elbow Balloon Pass Game

October 24, 2010 Leave a Comment

LC learned this one after a day spent at Den Chief training. When he got home, I asked him to tell me about the game he enjoyed the most. He told me that of all the games they taught him, this was his favorite.

It just goes to show that what they teach us in training is right. KISMIF – Keep It Simple Make It Fun.

This game is all about cooperation. Talk afterwards about what made it easier to pass the balloon and what made it harder.

This is a cooperative rather than competitive game.

Equipment

1 balloon

  2. They must pass the balloon around the circle using only their elbows
  3. Count how many times the balloon goes around the circle
  4. Repeat, trying to increase the number of times the balloon is passed.
