What You’ll Need:

• Duct tape (any color or pattern)
• Ruler
• Scissors or a utility knife
• Flat surface to work on

Instructions:

1. Cut four strips of duct tape, each 9 inches long.
2. Lay them sticky-side up in a row. Overlap each one by about 1/4 inch.
3. Make a second sheet the same way.
4. Stick the two sheets together, sticky sides facing, lining up the edges.
5. Cut another strip of tape, 9 inches long.
6. Cut that strip lengthwise into two 1-inch wide strips.
7. Use those to cover the two long edges of the wallet. Fold each over the edge to make it smooth.
8. Trim the sides so the full sheet is 8 1/2 inches wide.
9. Fold the sheet in half to start the wallet shape.
10. Cut two strips of tape, each 1 inch by 4 inches.
11. Use those to seal the two short sides of the wallet. Fold the tape over the edges and trim extra.

To Make a Card Pocket (Optional):

12. Cut two pieces of duct tape, each 5 inches long.
13. Stick them together, sticky sides facing.
14. Fold a 1-inch wide strip of tape over one long edge of the card pocket.
15. Trim the card pocket to 4 inches long.
16. Use small strips (about 1/2 inch wide) to tape the pocket into the wallet. Put them on the sides and bottom only.

Notes:

• Use scissors carefully. If using a utility knife, have an adult help.
• Be sure to cut on a safe surface.
• Duct tape can stick fast. Go slow and line things up before pressing down.
• You can add more pockets or designs with extra tape.
