Log Sheet for Personal Fitness Merit Badge

LC is working on his Personal Fitness merit badge. Part of the requirements for this badge include doing some fitness tests periodically and recording a fitness plan over a period of 12 weeks. There are some worksheets available for this on the web, but the ones we looked at didn’t really fit in with the fitness plan which LC and his merit badge counselor agreed to.

So I fired up the spreadsheet program and helped LC with a new worksheet. It is really basic. But the spaces are fairly large. (LC’s printing is not small!) So if you find this helpful, great! But remember, if you don’t find what you are looking for, just look at what is out there, keep the parts you like, throw out the parts you don’t need, and come up with an aid which works for you.

Those are for logging what they did each day as part of their daily fitness plan.

Did you have an actual work out or did he just do random things?

There is no specific program given. The Scout and the merit badge counselor will discuss this when they meet.

This is perfect. We have been writing it down on scratch pieces of paper and I’ve been meaning to put something together. This will work great and save me the time. Thanks and God Bless.

Hi , My son is starting the personal fitness merit badge and we were looking for an activity log sheet and a bi-weekly test summary sheet ,
Is that something you could help with .

    Thank you,

Is exercise required every day or as many times a week as they can? We haven’t seen this explained in what we’ve read about this merit badge.

Your son needs to discuss that with his merit badge counselor. The counselor should cover his or her expectations before your son starts working on the badge.

For all the spaces under Week 1, Week 2, and so on, is each day the same exercises or is each day a new one? Also, are all the weeks identical?

Speak to your counselor about it. He or she will help you develop an appropriate program.
