Here’s a spring craft idea for all of you Tiger leaders. Have the scouts make a seed mosaic to give to mom for Mother’s Day. You can even fulfill Tiger elective 2: Make a decoration with your family or den. Display it or give it to someone as a gift.
Last weekend ZM’s den received their Arrow of Light award and crossed over to Scouts BSA. My den gave me a gift which included a gift certificate and this bracelet which one of the moms made from Cub Scout neckerchief slides.
Now that school is starting up again, Cub Scouts might enjoy making craft stick pencil holders to keep some of their school supplies in. Or they can give it to somebody else as a gift. This craft is very easy.
If you are looking for a craft for your pack pool party or aquatics themed meeting, you could let the Scouts decorate their own pool totes. Then they can carry all of their squishy balls, goggles, dive sticks, and other pool accessories themselves.
Scouts can never do too many duct tape crafts! I found these very cute duct tape napkin rings and the instructions.
If you want a craft with a soccer theme, try making soccer themed zipper pulls. I’ve outlined a basic idea below, but you can get creative and change it up however you want. They can use the colored beads at the bottom to represent their school colors or the colors for their favorite team.
