Steps to Fold the US Flag

Step 1: Preparation

• Hold the flag waist-high.
• Ensure it is parallel to the ground.

Step 2: Lengthwise Fold

• Fold the flag lengthwise in half.
• Ensure the stripes are on top.

Step 3: Second Lengthwise Fold

• Fold the flag lengthwise again.
• Make sure the blue field is on the outside.

Step 4: Triangle Folds

• Start at the striped end.
• Make a triangular fold by bringing the striped corner to the open edge.
• Continue folding in triangles until the end.

Step 5: Final Tuck

• Tuck the remaining fabric into the triangle.
• Ensure only the blue field and white stars are visible.
