On World Scout Scarf Day, all former Scouts and current Scouts are asked to wear their neckerchief (scarf) to promote the Spirit of Scouting. August 1 was the date of the very first Scout camp on Brownsea Island in 1907.
So wear your neckerchief proudly and do a good turn on Aug 1! Take a group photo or a selfie and post it to social media with the hashtag #worldscarfday . Change your social media profile picture to one of you wearing your neckerchief. Make a new neckerchief slide:
- Seed Neckerchief Slide
- Clock Neckerchief Slide
- Wolf Neckerchief Slide
- Mini Cub Scout Handbook Neckerchief Slide
Or make a neckerchief slide holder.
