Let’s not take ourselves too seriously. Have fun Scouting!

Do you have a joke, riddle, or funny story that you’d like to share? Contact me and I’ll share it here.

‘Twas the Campout Before Christmas
Kim Gilbert of Pack 533 in Andover, Kansas sent me this take on 'Twas the Night Before Christmas so I could share it with you. Thanks Kim! I'm sure many of the Cub Packs out there will enjoy this.
A Scouter Is … Note Cards (Spoof of Scout Law)

Nap on Safely Training
I hope all of you Scouters out there will be able to complete your Nap on Safely training before or during summer camp. The guidelines are listed in this article. (Spoof!)
Scouter Oath Coffee Mug (Spoof on the Scout Oath)
Get this coffee mug for yourself or your favorite Scouter. It is a spoof of the Scout Oath. It reads: The Scouter Oath On my honor, I will do my best To smile; To be patient; And to let the youth lead.

Puppet Play – Holmes and Watson Go To Webelos Camp
My Webelos den has been working a puppet skit. When they first started brainstorming, they were thinking big. They wanted to do Star Wars. A cast of thousands! Millions of props!
A Scouter Is … Magnet (Spoof on the Scout Law)
Get this magnet for yourself or your favorite Scouter. It is a spoof of the Scout Law. It reads: A Scouter Is... Capable, Generous Determined Patient Dependable Trusting Hopeful Fearless Flexible Humble and Exhausted
Audience Participation – Stick Out Your Tongue and Touch Your Nose
A few years back we had a Cubmaster who really enjoyed audience participation segments. The cornier the better! This is a classic along those lines. This would also work to help demonstrate the importance of clear communication when giving instructions.
