Scouts BSA Star Merit Badge Requirement Helps and Documents

April 20, 2019 Leave a Comment

Star is the fourth rank a Boy Scout can earn. It is earned after First Class. With Star, the focus shifts from scout skills to leadership, service, and merit badges.

Scouts who are working on their Star rank need to start earning merit badges. They may count merit badges they earned as new Scouts. At least four of the badges for this requirement must be from the merit badges required for the rank of Eagle Scout.

Earn six merit badges, including any four from the required list for Eagle. You may choose any of the 17 merit badges on the required list for Eagle to fulfill this requirement. See Eagle rank requirement 3 for this list.

Helps for this requirement are listed below.

Camping Merit Badge Helps and Documents
Working on the requirements for the Camping merit badge help Scouts learn how to plan for a safe campout. They consider weather hazards, what to pack, and how to select a camping site. Then they put their knowledge to use by participating in multiple camping trips.
