Dr. Seuss Day is a day to celebrate the birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel, the wonderful books he wrote, and reading in general.
Cub Scouts can be encouraged to read a Dr. Seuss book on this day. Scouts BSA or Venturers could also read an age appropriate book, or they could pick up a Dr. Seuss book and read it to a younger child. Older Scouts could also have fun doing a “dramatic reading” of one of these books at a meeting.
