Scout Law Game

Learning the Scout Law will be more enjoyable with a Scout Law game.  This game helps Scouts learn all twelve points of the law in order.

The idea is to have each point of the Scout Law written on a separate craft stick. Mix up the craft sticks and throw them on the table. Scouts then need to put them in order. It is a puzzle of sorts.

For a fun variation, make several sets and mix them together . Have teams race against each other to see who can get all twelve points of the Scout Law in the correct order first.

For a more challenging variation, throw in some words which are not part of the Scout Law – happy, grateful, punctual, organized, etc.

The Scout Law

I like the simplicity of the Scout Law. It is brief and therefore easy for youth to memorize. But it covers a lot of ground.

A Scout is:
Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful,
Friendly, Courteous, Kind,
Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty,
Brave, Clean, Reverent.
