Space Theme for Cub Scouts

Learning about space is fun for the young and old alike. Star gazing on a clear night is always a fun activity for Cub Scouts. Or learn about astronauts and the sense of adventure which they must have to venture into the unknown. A space theme will add some spark to your den or pack program.

A few ideas for this theme are listed below, and more will gradually be added. Organize a pack meeting or den meeting around them. Or plan an overall theme for your Cub Scout year and add an element or two from the theme into your program each month.

Star Wars Song

A while back, I posted the Fast Food Song. This week, I have a Star Wars song with the same tune. Sure, Star Wars isn’t science, but it is science fiction and it’s fun. That’s enough reason to use it to add some pizazz to any science themed meeting.
