All Tiger Cub activities are to be done with an adult partner. The adult partner can be a parent, aunt, uncle, grandparent, etc. I’ve even had a college aged sibling do activities with Tiger Cubs.
Tiger Elective 30 - Plant a Seed
Plant a seed, pit, or greens from something you have eaten.
BSA provides a set of Tiger den meeting plans for Cub Scout den leaders. This den meeting plan covers Tiger Elective 6 – Song Time and Tiger Elective 30 – Plant a Seed
Plant a garden based on a pizza theme so you can make pizzas with fresh herbs, tomatoes, and your other favorite ingredients.
The core value for the month of March is Compassion. I have heard through the grapevine that the first supplemental plan for this core value will be “Planting Seeds of Kindness”.
Making a terrarium is a great springtime activity. Plus – it reuses a plastic soda bottle, which is great for starting a discussion about Earth Day approaching.
