Disabilities Awareness Belt LoopDisabilities Awareness Belt Loop for Cub Scouts  The Disabilities Awareness belt loop is another of the recognitions from the Cub Scout Academics and Sports program. This belt loop encourages Cub Scouts to find out what it is like to live with a disability. We had a lady who trains assistance dogs come to a pack meeting and show the Scouts all of the ways the dogs can help people with disabilities. The kids were amazed.

Positive AttitudePack Meeting Ideas for January - Positive Attitude  The core value for Cub Scouts for the month of January is Positive Attitude. According to the program helps, this means being cheerful and setting our minds to look for and find the best in all situations.

 

Respect Ourselves, Others, and Our WorldIdeas for December Pack Meeting - Respect  The core value for Cub Scouts for the month of December is respect. At your December pack meeting, do something which helps Cub Scouts practice respect for others.

 

Cub Scout Academics and Sports ProgramHelps and Requirements for the Cub Scout Academics and Sports Program Belt Loops and Pins  The Cub Scout Academics and Sports program gives Cub Scouts the opportunity to receive recognition for exploring different areas of interest. Cub Scouts earn belt loops which can be worn on the official Cub Scout belt when they investigate one of these areas. When they explore one of the topics further, they earn a pin. The pins are not worn on the uniform.
