Pet Care Pin for Cub Scouts  If you have a pet, then your Cub Scout can probably earn the Pet Care pin from the Cub Scout Academics and Sports program. And he will learn more about his pet and how to be more responsible for his pet's well being.

Disabilities Awareness Belt Loop for Cub Scouts  The Disabilities Awareness belt loop is another of the recognitions from the Cub Scout Academics and Sports program. This belt loop encourages Cub Scouts to find out what it is like to live with a disability. We had a lady who trains assistance dogs come to a pack meeting and show the Scouts all of the ways the dogs can help people with disabilities. The kids were amazed.

More Pack Meeting Ideas for February – Resourcefulness  I posted a few ideas last year, but here are some more ideas for incorporating resourcefulness into your Cub Scout program.
