Boy Scout Eagle Palms
Eagle palms represent additional recongnition for an Eagle Scout who has stayed active in his unit. In order to receive this recognition, he must also continue to earn merit badges.
Eagle Palm Requirements
- Be active in your troop and patrol for at least 3 months after becoming an Eagle Scout or after the award of last Palm.
- Demonstrate Scout spirit by living the Scout Oath (Promise) and Scout Law in your everyday life.
- Make a satisfactory effort to develop and demonstrate leadership ability.
- Earn five additional merit badges beyond those required for Eagle or last Palm.
- Take part in a Scoutmaster conference
- Complete your board of review.
Can a troop place requirements on how a Board of Review must be requested? For example, can a troop require that the Scout request the BOR by phone rather than in person?

This checkoff list could be used by a scribe to keep track of which Scouts have earned which merit badges or could be used by an individual Scout.

Wearing a uniform identifies youth as Boy Scouts. It give them a sense of belonging to a group. The Boy Scout uniform is associated with the ideals of Scouting.
A Scout is Reverent. This prayer incorporates the twelve points of the Scout Law.
We are particularly encouraging all of the new youth leaders to attend, but the seminar will be open to the whole troop. Hopefully some of the members will be inspired to apply for one of the open positions.
When a Scout has completed all of the requirements for a rank, he must appear before a board of review. A board of review is NOT the same as a Scoutmaster Conference but just with more people.
