Tiger Elective Adventure Requirements: Stories in Shapes

This is a preview of the changes to the Cub Scout program which go into effect on June 1 2015. See the BSA Program Updates page for complete information.

Stories in Shapes is one of the Tiger elective adventures.  For this adventure, Tiger Cubs and their adult partners learn about art and explore their own creativity.

The requirement for this adventure are shown below. Upon completion of this adventure, Tiger Cubs will receive a belt loop.

Requirements for the Stories in Shapes Tiger Adventure

  1. Visit an art gallery or a museum, explore an art website, or visit your library. Do each of the following:
    1. Look at pictures of some abstract art with your den or family. Decide what you like about the art, and share your ideas with the other Tigers.
    2. Create an art piece.
  2. Do the following:
    1. Draw or create an art piece using shapes.
    2. Use tangrams to create shapes.
