Webelos Cub Scout badge

Webelos Badge Scramble Puzzle

I am going to go over some of the requirements for the Webelos badge with my den at our next meeting. We’ll use this word scramble puzzle as a gathering activity. It is based on the requirements for the Webelos badge.

When I use something like this, I don’t use it as a substitute for taking the time to go through the requirements with them. Instead, I use it to introduce the material to them. I’ll give them the puzzle during the gathering period and tell them that the answers can be found in the Webelos badge requirements in their handbooks. Then, when we get to actually talking about some things like the Scout Law or the Scout Handshake, they will already have at least a little idea of what we are discussing and it will be fresh in their memories.

You can create more puzzles and printable PDFs for this requirement with my Webelos Word List on A2Z Puzzler.

    The scout oath is wrong at the end it should read…just for FYI

    On my honor I will do my best
    To do my duty to God and my country
    and to obey the Scout Law;
    To help other people at all times;
    To keep myself physically strong,
    mentally awake, and morally straight.

      Thanks for catching that. I must not have been mentally awake when I typed that in. I clearly had fitness on my mind for some reason. 🙂

    How do you copy right your own work? I also have thought of and designed some cub scouts lesson aids and would like to get credit for it.

      You should speak to a lawyer if you want to understand how copyright law works.
