Preparation and Before the Meeting
To prepare for this meeting, arrange to visit a dentist. If any of your parents are dentists, then that makes it easy. If not, check with your own family dentist, the parents in your pack, or your chartered organization to see if there is a dentist who would like to share his or her profession with your Tiger Cub Scouts
See my gathering activities page for some ideas. Or make some thank you notes for the dentist you are visiting.
Opening and Business
Keep business to a minimum.
By visiting the dentist, you are completing Tiger Elective 46:
Visit a dentist or dental hygienist.
So you will be visiting the dentists office where they will show your group around. Ask for a question and answer period at the end. Tiger Cub Scouts will have many interesting questions about their teeth!
Keep it simple. Say the Law of the Pack.
After the Meeting
Tiger Cubs should thank the dentist and the staff where you visited.
